Discipleship

We are eternal students of the word of God. We have an active and robust Christian Education program.  As Christians, no matter our age, we believe it is important to constantly be learning and growing in knowledge of God and our faith.  Having a strong foundation enables us to live our lives as practical Christians with the ability to withstand any trials and temptations that come against us.  Being deeply rooted in Christ also allows us to better serve and show God’s love to others.

That is our goal in Sunday School!  We want to help students of all ages to grow in knowledge and communion with God so that they are equipped to live out their faith, defend their beliefs, and be a blessing to others.  Classes are available for preschoolers, school-age children, teens, and even adults.  Adult Christian education classes are offered in both English and Malayalam.

Zion Kids

We value the uniqueness of each of our children and their individual and collective abilities, along with their ability to be kind, considerate, and respectful to each other. We strive to maintain a safe, secure, and loving environment, where our children are encouraged to participate and serve God willingly with their whole hearts. We also encourage the support and involvement of parents, members, and friends as we strive to reach our children, who are our present and future generation.

Approximately 20 dedicated high school/college students have volunteered to help us in our Children’s Church ministry. The group leaders prepare, plan and provide our children with great bible lessons filled with activities that will keep their attention. These lessons contain easy to understand morals explained in a way that every child can relate to. We ask that the parents to keep all the leaders and our children in your prayers that we will be able to mold our children in His ways and open the door for them to grow into spiritual, God fearing boys and girls, Youth and Young Adults

Sisterhood

Purpose of our sisterhood fellowship is to encourage each other and to build each other for the glory of the Lord through personal testimonies, Bible studies and prayer. The women’s fellowship led by Sally Thomas meets on the 2nd Friday of each month from 0730pm-0900pm. In addition to that, they also have a prayer line time dedicated just for the ladies from 0845pm-0945pm on every Thursdays.
We welcome you to our fellowship and also to our prayer line. If you have a prayer request or would like to pray with us during our prayer line time, please request access code to participate. Please note that all participants to the prayer line would be required to identify themselves.

Missions

Ephesians 4:1 says that all of us are called by God… called to make a difference in the lives of people. One of the ways this happens is through what’s known as the 7 spheres (mountains) of influence that shape culture: Arts/Entertainment – Business – Church – Education – Family – Media – Government. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a film maker, a CEO or a missionary to a foreign land, each of us has the opportunity to bring the transforming love of God to the world around us. One of our passions is to release people to take their mountain. Every year, Zion partners with organizations that are already in the field working for the Lord. Zion proudly supports pastors and churches in India.

Life Groups

With a growing church, there is also a need for close interactions between families of Zion Gospel. This is achieved by allocating Cell Groups for families to meet once a month closer to their homes. Based on current geographical demarcations where Zion Church families are mostly residing, we have three cell groups.

Dallas East. Life Group comprising of Garland, Rowlett, Sunnyvale, Mesquite, Dallas regions. The coordinator for this group is Sajee Mathew and Roy Thomas.

Dallas North. Life Group comprising of Allen, Plano, Murphy and McKinney cities and the coordinator is George Thomas.

Dallas West. Life Group comprising of Carrollton, The Colony, Frisco, Coppell, Irving, Grapevine. The coordinator for this group is Thomas Jacob.

If you reside in or near any of these regions and would like to attend a very informal type fellowship meeting, please call us or send an email to cellgroup@zionag.org with some details of yourself and a representative coordinator from the respective region will respond back to you giving further details of the next such meeting.
